This is a profoundly told tale of a young Jewish woman, alone in Berlin during the terrible time of Nazi control, who was taken in and hidden by a string of compassionate individuals and families. Through her own intelligent choices, she survived and eventually thrived Her beautifully told tale is a compelling page-turner. Highly recommended to anyone interested a tale of the human spirit and survival against all odds.
