About the Author

Author K. C. Eckels fell in love with the written word as a child and started writing short stories and lyrics as a teenager. Born and raised in the Midwest, she's married to the love of her life, and has two dogs (Buckeye and Nala) who bring her constant joy and endless entertainment.

Eckels earned a psychology degree in 2011. She's spent years studying serial killers and how the mind works, while searching for the reason why people can switch from ordinary citizens to killers.

Outside of a love for psychology, Eckels has also volunteered and worked with adults and children with special needs. One of her greatest loves has been coaching Special Olympics sports.
