About the Author

Steven D. Nielsen is a history buff and business owner. He and his wife, Susan, are parents of five children and ten grandchildren. Houston, Texas has been home for the past 40 years where Mr. Nielsen has served in two bishoprics, as Scoutmaster, early morning Seminary Teacher, and mission leader, with missionary work being his passion.
