"Protest all you want Olivia," he says. "This thing we have between us, it's undeniable."

Olivia Wilder fell in love with Jackson Lockewood the first time she laid her eyes on him. She gave him her heart and her love, and she ended up alone, heartbroken, and with scars that were almost too much for her to bear.

Seven years later, they cross paths again. Jackson is everything she remembers, only more irresistible. Underneath his disdain, his desire to possess her lights a response within her, but she has no desire to rekindle their past or face the pain of all those years ago.

However, Jackson has no intention of making it easy for her. This time, he's determined to make her pay for the past, and for the future they should have had, even if it means destroying her in the process.

About the Author

Serena is obsessed with books. She reads everything, from history, to the classics, to novels and even comic books. (Go Walking Dead!). She started writing because the many stories in her head wouldn't leave her in peace otherwise. Even though she loves all kinds of fiction, she has a soft spot for love and romance, and that flush of pleasure that can only be found at the end of a beautiful love story.
When she's not reading and writing, she enjoys cocktails, coffee, numerous TV shows, has never gotten over her crush on Leonardo DiCaprio, and if she had to choose between a good book and a tub of ice-cream, she'd take both and make a run for it.

Olivia and Jackson grew up in the same household after her parents were tragically killed in a car crash.  Jackson was older and away at school, but came home during breaks and holidays.  She developed quite a crush on him.  Jackson fought his feelings for her. When Olivia turned 17 their relationship changed and then an event brought on by Jackson's ex causes him and his family to misconstrue what happened.  In the aftermath Olivia feels she has no choice but to leave.  She returns to their former home 7 years later to take photos and sees Jackson again.  What happens next was interesting and made for a quick, easy read.  Would have liked an epilogue and a glimpse into what happened after the last chapter, but overall a decent read.

Let me start off by saying I love this book from the very first page until the last. I read this book in one sitting and it was easily considered a 5 star read. Undeniable is a fantastic romance read about growing, learning, loving, forgiving and second chances. Olivia has been in love with Jackson from the moment she laid eyes on him. Wanting him for so long and finally getting the chance at the love she always dreamed of only to have it ripped away from her by deceit and betrayal. Author Serena Grey has done a fantastic job with this beautiful love story and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great romance book where you experience the love and pain you read about as if it was your own.

This book was so aggravating, not even a hint why Livvie didn't want to go back to her hometown or see Jackson until the book was more than half over!!!! The ending was just so rushed didn't feel the emotions between the two, something was lacking, so very disappointed!!!!!

Undeniable is a full-length novel by author Serena Grey. I read the Dangerous Man short stories, and immediately became a fan of this author. Devastating events seven years ago caused Olivia Wilder to walk away from Halcyon, leaving all of its painful memories behind, including Jackson Lockewood, the only man Olivia has ever loved. She’s spent the past seven years battling the pain of betrayal and depression. Now an accomplished photographer, Liv accepts a job photographing the historic Halcyon for an upcoming publication. She agrees to return to her childhood home only on the assurance that Jackson will not be there for the week-long photo shoot. Upon pulling into the drive, Liv quickly begins to rethink her decision when Jackson appears on the porch of the iconic home looking as beautiful as he did the day she walked away. Can she finish the job she’s come to do even while past feelings, misunderstandings, hurts, and secrets come rushing back threatening to destroy her already shaky resolve? Undeniable is a touching story of childhood love, the devastation of betrayal, and the pain of a broken heart. Told from Olivia’s point of view, the author uses the first half of the book moving between present day and past events to explain the main character’s reticence for being back at Halcyon, while also establishing tremendous depth in understanding the character of Olivia. Olivia is not strong emotionally – the pains of her past cause her to vacillate between confident photographer and insecure “Livvie.” Jackson remains somewhat of an enigma throughout the story. We get pieces of him, but they are all from Olivia’s point of view, and honestly, throughout most of the book, I was never really certain whether the love she felt for him all those years ago was ever reciprocated, or whether it was simply the case of a childhood crush (on Olivia’s part) being exploited by her friend’s older brother. Even as an adult, I continued to wonder if her memories of her love for Jackson were unique only to her. He was just really hard to read. I loved this story. I read it in one sitting, keeping me up half the night because I was determined to have all my questions answered. While it’s not necessarily a high emotion story, it is fair to say that there’s plenty of emotion in the story, and author Serena Grey has an amazing knack for bringing the story to life. She did a fantastic job at building my curiosity as a reader, and then giving me chapters to fill in the missing pieces. She is also brilliant at creating a scene. Her attention to detail in describing Halcyon, the scenery and the atmosphere put me right in the middle of that historic monolith as the events of the story unfolded. And, boy-oh-boy can she write a steamy scene. Quite a few of them, in fact. Undeniable delivered on so many levels. My only disappointment was that the story ended a little too abruptly for me. I could have spent another 100 pages reveling in Jackson and Olivia once the next chapter in their story began. Four and one-half beautifully-written stars.

I received a copy from the author in exchange for my honest review, so here it is. Olivia is going back to a place where she never wanted to return. Halcyon, the Lockwood estate, is where Olivia lived after her parents died. And living with Jackson Lockwood is very hard to resist. She has loved him since she first met him. When their brief affair ends because of a hurtful person and no one in the Lockwood household had ask Olivia what really happened, she runs away and doesn't look back. She has lost so much and when Jackson doesn't come after her, she realizes that he didn't love her. With the help of her friends she finally begins to live again. But after seven long hurtful years she has to photograph Lockwood mansion for her publisher. All the while she hopes Jackson doesn't show up, she can't handle seeing him again. Because she still loves him desperately. Can she survive the week when Jackson decides to come home? Will he see the truth in her eyes that she loves him? Will she tell him the secret she is keeping? Will they have another chance at love? This is a great story of young love, lost love, hurt, pain and a second chance at love. I fell in love with Serena grey's writing style and yummy alpha males, when I read "A Dangerous Man" series with yummy Daniel. So if you are looking for a tear-jerker of a story, you will love this one, I did. So enjoy!

II love all of Serena Grey's books and this one is no exception. Her ability to pour so much into her characters in this short read is mind blowing. My heart went out to Livvie for being so strong of heart. I found Jackson to be a very alluring man and could clearly understand how Livvie was lost to him. This book brought out many emotions within me. I felt elated during Livvie's happiest times and lost throughout those times of despair. I laughed at the witty charms of Gilt's Publications Editor, Nick with his roguish ways. The other characters brought light and darkness to this well thought out novel. It is undeniably 4 out of 5 stars, a definite must read.
