About the Author

The author has written more than five books on several topics. In addition he published a number of peer reviewed articles for academic professional journals. He was an educator for more than 40 years 12 at the high school level and more than 30 years at the collegiate level. In addition to teaching he was involved in coaching and administring several sports programs for his university, city and county governments. He has been selected to four Hall of Fames. He is a native Houstonian and earned a BS. MS., and Ed.D. degrees. His love for elite levels of competitive sports coupled with academic achievement was the foundation for his career as an educator.
