About the Author

Janice S. Ellis, MA, MA, PhD, an award-winning author, has been an executive throughout her career, first in government, then in Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company, later as a president and CEO of a marketing firm, and caping her career as President of a bi-state non-profit child advocacy agency. Along with those positions, she has been writing commentary for more than four decades on race, politics, education, and other social issues for newspapers, radio, and online. Her commentary currently appears in The Missouri Independent and Janice S. Ellis.com. Her first book, From Liberty to Magnolia: In Search of the American Dream (2018) has received several national and international awards since its initial release.
