Vasco da Gama A Passage To India

Vasco da Gama and Christopher Columbus were both searching for a nautical route to India when they set out on their voyages, in 1497 and 1492, respectively. Columbus sailed west while da Gama sailed east after voyaging south to the Cape of Good Hope at the tip of Africa.
