Sharon Cavileer, freelance writer, photographer, and public relations counselor, has been writing professionally since 1982 specializing in features and travel. As the media relations officer for The Prince William County Park Authority, she served as spokesperson for four years and as the on-air host of Recreation and Leisure, a cable television show. As spokeswoman for the Prince William/Manassas Conference and Visitors Bureau, Sharon has appeared as guest on numerous television and radio programs.

She is a member of The Society of American Travel Writers, The Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, and The Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce.
