Jean Oram grew up in a small town in Alberta, Canada and her experiences have inspired her Blueberry Springs series. But while Jean grew up in an old schoolhouse tending to the family's honeybee operation, her characters haven't! Well, not yet, anyway.

Jean loves to ski (downhill and cross-country), hike, camp, read, write, watch romantic comedies, and say random things like "Buckle your seatbelts, kids, Mama's driving!" in order to make her kids crack up.

She lives in Canada with her husband, two kids, and very large dog.

Read the Entire Blueberry Springs Series:
Whiskey and Gumdrops
Rum and Raindrops
Eggnog and Candy Canes
Sweet Treats: A Blueberry Springs Valentine's Day Short Story Romance Boxed Set

Amber had been troubled by secrets all her life so she started digging for answers. First on her list was to find out who her father was. While doing this, Amber only focused on finding the information she wanted and not how that information would affect others. Amber was VERY immature. I didn't like her at all. She made it hard to enjoy the story since it was all about her anyway.

I so enjoyed Amber and Scott's story, reading about such a lovely small town and the people who make it family is what makes this series easy to get lost in. Happily ever afters are such a great way to escape the not so happy daily grind of real life. Thank you Jean!
