This is book 3 of a 5 book series (best read in order). We get a longer look of the Corrigan family's magic in this story, including a different take on how kids with magical gifts can be taught to hone their skills. Kate and Ryan have a pretty heavy past, and he's been living under an incorrect assumption for a long time. Enter mega-conflict over their romantic past, while they struggle with their meant-to-be attraction. Set in Ireland, the story makes me want to go find this little town and hang out on the cliffs above the sea.
