About the Author

Christopher G. Moon was born in England and moved to the USA when he was 12. He was a fashion photographer and recording engineer/producer when he started Moon Sound Studios in Minneapolis, Minnesota at age 18.

At his MoonSound Studios in Minneapolis, he discovered 16-year-old Prince when Moon was just 21 and wrote his first hit song for him. Moon is also credited with teaching Prince how to record and produce in the studio, giving the young artist his stage name (Prince did not want to be called Prince), developing the color purple for the artist's image, and writing sexually themed songs which became a signature style of the Popstar.

PBS AFRICAN LION DOCUMENTARY:
After producing Prince and numerous other artists, Moon turned his attention to filmmaking. He wrote, filmed, scored, and produced a documentary film in Kenya, Africa for PBS named "FATHER OF THE LIONS" which aired for over 20 years documenting the last years of famed conservationist George Adamson who lived with wild lions in the remote African bush.

APPLE, IBM, SUPERBOWL & THE OLYMPICS:
As an avid marketer, Moon started a software marketing company named INTESEL where he was a consultant and produced numerous hi-tech marketing programs for companies such as: Apple, IBM, Intel, Wells Fargo, The NFL, The SuperBowl, the Department of Naval Intelligence and The Olympics.

FINDING LOST AMERICAN MIAs WORLDWIDE:
Moon and his family started MIA HUNTERS, a 501c non-profit organization where they traveled worldwide to find and recover the lost remains of American Missing In Action (MIA) airmen from WWII. Most of his work was in Papua, New Guinea where he lived with tribes of head hunters and ventured into the jungle with them to find the remains of the lost American airmen. The Moons were invited to The White House to meet the President.

WRITING & PRODUCING WITH NEW ARTISTS GLOBALLY:
Moon continues working with new and undiscovered artists all over the world. Moon still provides auditions to any singer, songwriter or producer wishing to collaborate with a top industry producer and works to help many new and unknown artists, worldwide.
