Running was all I ever did. I tried to get away from a man that hurt me and I ended up in the path of a temptation that I couldn't resist. I wanted Raef more than my next breath, but he didn't want me. I tried like hell to fight my attraction towards him, but I couldn't. He was everything I wanted and everything I never knew I needed.
My old man was punishing me for God knows what. He sent me down to Sacramento to clean up their mess and instead I ended up finding her. She's like a damn breath of fresh air in this otherwise suffocating life. My attraction to her can land me on the wrong side of a gun, but it's a chance I'm willing to take. She's a temptation that I can't ignore and one that I don't regret.

4.5 star I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, suspense, grief, pain, betrayal, and heartbreak. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Wayward Angel (Wayward Saints MC, #1) Wayward Valentine (Wayward Saints MC #1.5) Wayward Soul (Wayward Saints MC, #2) Wayward Beginning (Wayward Saints MC #3) Wayward Son (Wayward Saints MC, #4) Wayward Trouble (Wayward Saints MC #5) This is Sailor and Raef’s story. Raef knows he is not a one woman man. That is until he meets Sailor. Sailor is on the run from her old boyfriend. He is out to capture her and hand her off. Sailor runs to her brother for protection. He has to run the protection by the club. Raef is in town to find a traitor in the club. Can he find the traitor? Can he protect Sailor and keep his hands to himself? When someone close betrays Sailor will Raef be able to protect her in time? When it’s time for him to go home will he still care about protecting her? Or will he leave and not worry about if she is protected or not. When Raef is gone will Sailor be safe or will she always be alone? Will she ever have Raef or even a piece of him for herself or is he already gone from her forever? I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. The author will pull out all of your emotions in this story. You might not like the way it ends but really you never get to choose the ending. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.
