This is a moving story of Choi and Lee, both unusual humans of Korean and African descent, who are thrown together after most of civilization has been swallowed by what we know as sinkholes. They must battle the creatures that have emerged from the Under Lands who seek Lee as an important breeder and Choi for a reason he keeps a secret from Lee.
