Children and adults alike love Peter Pan and Wendy. There is something timeless and almost mythological about J.M. Barrie's work. In "Wendy's Kiss", we take a what-if journey with a thirteen year old Wendy back to Neverland to discover what happens when the veil between childhood and adulthood is lifted. Filled with beautiful poetic language and imagery, this short story frolics through that thin line between growing up and being a grown-up.

About the Author

Jamie is a counselor, writer and teacher from Washington. She earned her BA in English Literature from Western Washington University, studied education at the graduate level, and is now a Masters Candidate for Professional Counseling. She prefers literature that is more than 100 years old. Like her characters, she struggles with growing up, and spends much of her time reading and writing instead of getting a "Real Job" (tm). In addition to short fiction and poetry, Jamie writes advice articles, academic papers, and informative blog articles. She lives in Puyallup with her partner and cats.
