A brilliant and an intriuing novel. Talking about a great read, you should read this book. I found it refreshing from all the others book I have read about interracial relationship. No, I am not married or dating a white or black man. There was laughter, fun and LOVE in this book and it captivated my soul. It showed the family connection and spelled out the power of LOVE. The character Zane was a cheating, abusive, arrogant bastard at times. The love scenes took me to a peak and left me there... It was as if the author was toying with my emotions. The passion was crazy at times and funny as hell at others. I cried twice when his mother mistreated Delores. I hated how Zane kept insisting that Delores respected his trifling mother all the time. I became obessed about finishing this book. Couldn't wait to get to the end. I let my emotions get the best of me as I read it. I was first drawn to this book at first by the title. You could say curiosity killed the cat. I wasn't able to predict the beginning or the ending. It is a tasteful keeper, if you ask me . Five stars for the power of LOVE. This is a book I enjoyed reading over and over again, and I am.
