Great Family are not always blood John Alexander vowed to never fall in love. Then this woman out of no ware blackmails him into marriage. Jane Sinclair is desperate to keep her little brother safe from their Uncle. She figures if she has the Alexander name to help bake her, she and her brothers might be safe. Jane has no clue that John wanted her from the moment he met her. And not only goes alone with her plan but takes it ever further. The Uncle is also desperate to keep the family fortune to himself. To what lengths will he take it. Or has he already taken it farther than anyone thought. Jane’s parents both met unfortunate death, but were the just accidents. This is a self-contained story yet part of a series. Well written and very entertaining to read.
I loved this book! I loved the name for the heroine: Jane Eyre She tried to blackmail John into marrying her to protect her brothers. John took a whiff of Jane + he knew she was his mate. So of course, he said " Yes, I will marry you" John + Jane had a very HEA
