I have read and enjoyed all the previous books in this series. Having said that, Wicked Whiskey Love can definitely be read as a stand alone. This was an emotional story that captivated me from the first to the last chapter. From glimpses of Bones in the previous books I have eagerly been anticipating his book. I was not disappointed and I believe I have a new book boyfriend in Bones Whiskey; I just loved everything about him. Sarah Beckley has had a hard life, first because of her abusive parents , then her abusive husband. Now pregnant and a mother to two young children she is struggling. Putting down roots in Peaceful Harbor with her recently found brother, she is determined to change their lives. All she needs now is to find her missing sister and life will be good. Sarah has fallen for the hot doctor/biker who has her children under his protection, but has difficulty trusting people. She cannot believe that Bones could be interested in her. Sarah has no idea that the Whiskey family will protect her and her children no matter what. She is used to people who let her down and cannot fathom the love, support and loyalty that they offer freely. I love this series, the characters are so well developed and Melissa Foster’s writing so descriptive that I feel as though I am apart of the Whiskey family and Peaceful Harbour. It is a story of love, hope and friendship, of family, not always related by blood and one which I highly recommend.

Wicked Whiskey Love is an emotional ride. There were times where I was grinning so hard because of sweet dialogues between Bones and Sarah and there were times where I was crying because of Sarah's background story. The book is filled with dimensions due to real emotions embedded by the storyline. Furthermore, Melissa Foster's is truly gifted in creating great, amazing, and lovable characters. I like how her characters have their own flaws because it makes them more realistic, human, and relatable. Sarah is a very strong character especially towards her children but she has difficulty trusting other people because of an abusive childhood. Throughout the book, we see her growth and I love that the author created this wonderful character woman can look up to. While Bones is an amazing character. He is very sweet and caring, not only towards Sarah but to her children as well. By chapter 4, I can see that he would do everything to protect them. I also like his background story on his friend Thomas and his reason why he entered Med School. That little titbit tells us what a good character he is. In addition, I just got confused at the beginning of the book since it started with Bones and Sarah already knowing each other and chapter 1 just briefly mentioned how they met but I understand that this is already the fourth book for the series. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this book. It is more than a romantic novel. This book gave us hope. It is an inspiration and voice to abused people. I learned that an open communication is an important factor in a healthy relationship and that one should not be afraid to fall in love. I also learned that it is okay to leave an uncomfortable and toxic situation or relationship. I am very excited to the rest of the series, especially Jed and Josie's story.

Just when you think she can't get any better, Melissa Foster outdoes herself with her newest release Wicked Whiskey Love. Bones and Sarah are destined for each other and one of them knows it. Bones does whatever it takes to prove his love to this woman who is afraid to fall.  In this sexy story, the tenderness that Bones shows Sarah is swoon-worthy and the steamy moments are super-sexy. The journey that Melissa Foster leads the reader through is emotionally draining and heartwarming at the same time. There were tears, but the writer makes sure that we get an equally rewarding amount of Whiskey family love.  The children will capture your heart and hold on for the ride. Bones and Sarah have now moved up the ladder as my favorite Melissa Foster couple. These Whiskey siblings are no joke so grab this one today and fall in love with their love story.

OMG! Bone’s and Sarah’s Story was worth the wait! This is a story about finding your life after leaving an abusive relationship and starting over again! Dr Hottie Bones is there to help! Bones will do anything for family and Sarah and her children have become that! Melissa Foster wrote a sensitive story about abuse, starting your life over, making friends and finding love! Did I mention that Bones is a hottie, sexy and a wonderful human being!

Wooo! I've got me a case of Whiskey fever! I've been anxiously awaiting Bones and Sarah's story for a while now. I love how deep and raw the emotions take a reader in this book. They remind me a lot of how my husband and I began our relationship. Like Sarah, I was a single mom and my husband was instantly absolutely amazing with my children. They both are vulnerable; yet, together, they fit as good as I imagine his motorcycle gear does! Sarah is such a sweet soul. Her past makes her expect the worst but things with Bones continue to get better and better with time....until the other shoe drops. Their love story is passionate, intense, and mouth-watering sexy. Melissa Foster never fails to amaze me -- she's a phenomenal writer! I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Holy swoons!!! I looooved this book. It was a story with a ton of heart, passion, strength and perseverance. Melissa Foster did a phenomenal job creating this close knit group of characters that I could not help but love. Bone and Sarah's chemistry was off the charts fantastic. You just felt their love shine through. I loved Sarah. I loved her strength and her dedication to her kids. Her will to overcome her past and leave a dangerous situation made me admire her more and more as the story went on. And then there was Bones. Bones Whiskey is dream man material. He is everything you want in a hero. He's a successful doctor. A great family man and friend. And maybe the sexiest thing about him is how he listens and anticipates all Sarah and her children's needs. Gah!! I love him so much. Every time he interacted with the children, I melted into a puddle. I need a real life Wayne "Bones" Whiskey in my life. Wicked Whiskey love was my first book by this author. However, because I hadn't read any of the previous books that featured the Whiskeys, I was a little lost in the beginning. There were so many characters that I felt I was should have already known. Or events like Bones and Sarah's initial first meeting that I'm assuming happened in a previous book and are now kind of glossed over. I know it's considered a standalone but I would strongly suggest reading Tru Blue, Truly, Madly Whiskey, and Driving Whiskey Wild before hand this one. Even though I really enjoyed this book, I wish I had.

I have loved each and every Whiskey book that Melissa Foster has written and you do not have to have read the previous ones to enjoy this one. I look forward to seeing how the next family member's love story evolves. Bones Whiskey's story is no different. Sarah has had bad luck with men. She actually distrusts people in general. She has been learning to trust the people of Peaceful Harbor but she is sure there is another shoe to drop when it comes to Bones. On the other hand, Bones is slowly falling for Sarah, whether she wants him or not. To find out how Bones manages to wiggle his way into Sarah's life, you should pick up a copy of Wicked Whiskey Love and read the entire thing. You will not be disappointed. Every woman should experience the way Bones treats Sarah. I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

4.5stars--WICKED WHISKEY LOVE is the fourth instalment in Melissa Foster’s contemporary adult THE WHISKEYS erotic, romance series focusing on the Whiskey family of Peaceful Harbor. This is oncology physician Wayne ‘Bones’ Whiskey, and single mother / hairstylist Sarah Beckley’s story line. WICKED WHISKEY LOVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion including Sarah’s introduction to the Peaceful Harbor town. Sarah was first introduced to the reader in Driving Whiskey Wild. The Whiskeys series is a spin off from the author’s Bradens of Peaceful Harbor. There is a slight MC biker theme throughout the series as the Whiskeys are part of the local Dark Knights MC. NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line content including references to rape, physical and emotional abuse, there may be some issues for more sensitive readers. Told from dual third person perspectives (Bones and Sarah) WICKED WHISKEY LOVE follows the building relationship between oncology physician Wayne ‘Bones’ Whiskey, and twenty-six year old, single mother / hairstylist Sarah Beckley. Months earlier Sarah Beckley, along with her children Bradley and Lila, and her brother Scott ‘crashed’ into Peaceful Harbor hoping for a new start. Years of abuse at the hand of her parents, and the children’s father forced Sarah to run without looking back. Meeting the Whiskey family of Peaceful Harbor gave Sarah a hope for the future but our heroine never expected to fall in love with a man willing to accept her past, and the children she loved. Enter Dr. Wayne ‘Bones’ Whiskey, the epitome of the perfect man, including his readiness to bring Sarah into his life. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Sarah and Bones, and the potential fall-out as Sarah struggles with memories from the past, and Bones’ determination to help Sarah move forward pushes at her already fragile persona. The relationship between Sarah and Bones is one of immediate attraction but Sarah struggles between head and heart as a single mother who’s sole purpose is to see to her children’s safety and security. Bones is willing to take it slow suspecting Sarah has suffered throughout most of her life but our hero never expected to fall in love with a ready-made family. The $ex scenes are intimate, seductive and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. The world building focuses on the building relationship and growing love between Bones and Sarah, but also looks at the fall-out and ramifications of parental and spousal, physical and emotional abuse, and the ongoing struggle to move forward without having to constantly look back. The Whiskey family, and thusly the Dark Knights MC are an over-protective group who readily accept Sarah, Scott and the Beckley brood with open arms and open hearts. WICKED WHISKEY LOVE is an emotional and passionate story line. Melissa Foster takes the reader on a journey of betrayal and recovery; family and friendship; falling in love and letting go of the past. The premise is raw, real and inspiring; the characters are realistic and moving; the romance is seductive and intense. WICKED WHISKEY LOVE is an impassioned and dramatic tale of second chances, of a sort, for a woman who has endured and survived

Sarah is running, maybe not physically but emotionally and Bones knows it. Bones has never felt so sure about something or someone than the way he feels about Sarah and her children. A great book with intrigue and peril, oh and hot sex . I loved it.

I absolutely love Melissa Foster, she is an amazing author and every book I have read by her I have been hooked on and Wicked Whiskey Love was no exception. This is book four of The Whiskeys Series but can be read as a standalone. I had not read the other books in the series yet but after reading this one I need to know about the rest of the Whiskey family. This book centres around Bones Whiskey a biker and a doctor and Sarah Beckley a single mother with two young children and one on the way. When Sarah arrived to live with her estranged brother she didn’t trust anyone but the Whiskey family had taken her under their wing, including Bones and although they treated her as their own, there was still a wall up for Sarah. I absolutely loved this book because it was great seeing someone who had a reputation as a tough guy being a biker having his heart melted by Sarah’s children but also by Sarah and seeing their relationship grow, how they both open up to each other and go through some tough stuff too. I can honestly say this has notched its way up to being one of my favourite books written by Melissa Foster.

Sarah has been through two whole lifetimes of bad experiences, not including the car accident with her brother and two children, landed her in the lives of Bones and his family. From her personal experiences, Sarah cannot trust kind gestures without expecting negativity to rear its ugly head. Bones, an oncologist by profession, and a biker by lifestyle. His first encounter with Sarah in the hospital following her accident has forever made an impression on him that won't fade. Bones is a protector and that is what he aims to do for Sarah and her little ones, emotionally and physically. After hearing just some of Sarah's story I was on the edge of my seat, just waiting for the other shoe to drop for the remainder of the story. You'll definitely shed some tears, but there is a light at the end of Sarah's dark tunnel. Disclosure: At my request, I have received an advance copy of this book for review purposes. I am not being financially compensated for this post, all opinions expressed are my own honest opinion.

I’m. Speechless. This was such an amazing read. It was a roller coaster of emotions. It was real and personal. It was romantic and made me swoon (don’t all of Melissa’s books do that!?) I love the Whiskey boys and they all have their special… quirk. Truman (a pseudo Whiskey) was one of my favorite reads because of his past and his relationship with the babies. Bones now ranks up there with Truman with his love for Sarah; Sarah’s past; and Bones’ relationship with the babies. (What’s that saying – it takes a real man to raise someone else’s kids as their own?) This read was definitely a roller coaster of emotions from happy, to guarded, to loved, to loving, to sad, to heartbreak, to anger – all of the above! I ran a full gamut of emotions while reading this but I wouldn’t have changed it for a moment. Wicked Whiskey Love is definitely at the top of my favorites and I can see myself reading this story again and again. It is a must read!

*4.5 stars* Like all the Whiskey stories, Wicked Whiskey Love is about family, not necessarily the one you are born with but the one you surround yourself with.    Sarah definitely didn't have the best of the first but she's doing everything she can to reconnect with her siblings and make a better life than she had for her kids.  Being adopted by the Whiskeys is definitely doing a lot to help her regain her trust in people and her faith in herself. Bones may not have always had every physical want met but he had what was important.  He knew his place in life and he had people that loved & cared for him.  His parents and the Dark Knights made sure that he grew up knowing right from wrong and was willing to fight for others when needed.  It's the Whiskey way and it's turned out some dang fine men.    Sarah is skittish about trusting people, but Bones is patient and he's going to convince her that he (and his family) want the best for her, will be there for her & her family when she needs them.  It truly touches the heart to see her slowly open up and accept that she's worth their attention & affection.  (And Bones with her kids will have you swooning - so adorable!)  While Bones does a lot of the work in winning Sarah over, it is a group thing and seeing the collective Whiskeys step up to be there for each other is just so very awesome.  They may not do things the conventional way but the Whiskey way has a lot of heart & good intentions and that's what is important.   **Review given honestly and freely after receipt of a reader copy. This opinion is completely my own and was not influenced in any way.**

4.5 swoon worthy stars This book touched my heart from the first page, I loved the storyline, it's beautifully written, it will make you smile and swoon on so many occasions but it will also bring a few tears hearing Sarah's story. I loved watching Bones and Sarah's relationship unfold, it melted my heart the way Bones was so tender and loving not just with Sarah but with her beautiful children as well. This was one of those books once I started reading I didn't want to put it down, all the characters are likeable, relatable and I found myself falling hard for this beautiful, thoughtful, sexy man called Bones! I've enjoyed all the books in the Whiskeys series, each book can be read as a stand-alone and I highly recommend them all!

The bikers will protect everyone and if they consider you family--well--then you have the friendship, love and protection of all of them! Bones is the only one who normally is not hot headed and thinks things through. Unlike the rest of the crew he went to college and became a doctor--ink. piercings and all. When he falls head over heels for Sarah, her two children and her unborn child--there is no stopping him. He wants to erase all the hurt that shows in her eyes and whatever it is in her back ground that is causing her to hold back. Her story will unfold slowly--and it was one filled with abuse from childhood on. She can't believe that there is really someone who can look past all that occurred. He is a natural with her kids-who adore him. Of course Bones has some skeletons in his closet as well. Will they be able to learn to communicate and take each other as the soul mates they are? I think I can honestly say that this series that features the Whiskey Men is my favorite of all Melissa Foster's novels--and I think I may have read them all!!

Sarah, her brother Scott, and their sister Josie had a horrible and abusive upbringing, each of them fleeing their parents’ home at various stages in life. Sarah did things that she wasn’t proud of to survive and also met Lewis. Although he gave her the most precious things in her life – her children – he left Sarah unsure about people and very protective of her heart. Melissa Foster takes the readers on a roller coaster ride of emotions with Sarah in this story. This young woman has suffered several times and at the hands of several different people. The reader gets flashbacks of Sarah’s past, goes through her ever-changing emotions as her relationship with Bones develops, and is front row and center to her struggles and bravery as she finally faces, accepts, and puts her past behind her. Don’t let me scare you off of this one thinking it’s just a big emotional trainwreck, because it is not. The signature Whiskey family love, support, and humor are prominent in this one, including several laugh-out-loud moments, as well as, countless moments that will make your heart swell. All of the kids definitely make this one special, especially numerous moments between Bones, Bradley and little Lila. If you already have baby fever, this will make it worse. If you thought you were done wanting children, this will make you question your choices! There is just too much cuteness to take between this big, bad, sexy bikers and all of the little munchkins running around! Overall, all I can say is, wow. I feel as if Foster stepped a little outside of her own comfort zone with this one, earning even more of my respect then she already had. I am in awe of this woman and the depths of emotion that she reaches within her novels and her characters. I’ve said this before, well actually, several times, but I know without a doubt that this is my favorite book that she has ever written. Wicked Whiskey Love will make you absolutely certain that love can conquer all and that good beats evil. Although it is a fiction novel, I can’t help but think that it might give women hope out there that are in dangerous or unpleasant situations, just as Sarah sharing her story gave hope to so many in the novel. What a fantastic book!

Wisked Whiskey Love by Melissa Foster is the fourth book in the The Whiskey's series. I absolutely adored Bones just as I knew I would. I had been dying for his story and Melissa did not let me down. This Whiskey series has been to die for and this one is absolutely no different. Sarah has had a rough life and the fact hat Bones adores her children is hard to ignore. Anyman that can take on children and treat them so amazingly is SWOON worthy. Sarah finds Dr. Whiskey just as hard to resist as we do. I absolutely loved this story!

Bones has officially stolen my heart as my favorite Whiskey, as someone that has experienced some of the things that Sarah has gone through in her past. I am glad these hard to swallow situations once again eloquently written by Melissa Foster, who knows how to tackle hard situations with just the right amount of pressure. Bones steps up for Sarah where people in her past have failed her, she learns not only to trust again, but also to learn to let go and not everyone is out to hurt you. The babies will keep you laughing, the HEA will make you swoon.

Bones is a total dream. Total package of a great man. Sarah is a mother of two with a third on the way. She’s had a rough life with abuse from both her parents and her boyfriend. Sarah has had to do things to survive that she is not proud of and tries to keep it hidden even from everyone, even the one man willing to except her for who she is. Bones is a man who has always put complete thought into everything he does before he does it or acts on it. So, when he has Sarah and her kids on his mind that’s all he can think about. He feels things for Sarah and her kids that he’s never felt before. Bones spends most of his time when not working with Sarah and her kids. He is caring and loving and SO good with kids even those that aren’t his. He treats Sarah’s kids like they are his and it just melts your heart. I love how this story takes you through all different kinds of emotions. Your going to find yourself laughing, crying, cringing and even hating. But in the end, you will find the true love of the story and the characters. Absolutely worth reading. I LOVE the Whiskey men!!!

Bones is one of the whiskey brothers. He is the overthinker the one who thinks through every decision before it's made. He meets Sarah the through one of his brothers, she needed help and bones a Dr. Kept checking one her. Sarah is strong compassionate and scared. She has a lot of trust issues and has trouble opening up and accepting help. This book had me wanting more after the 1st page. I loved it and read it in one sitting. Great job Melissa Can't wait for Josie and Jed story.

First of all, I want to state that this book does contain some descriptions of physical and sexual abuse. It's not overly graphic and it's only in a few parts of the book, but I thought that I should put up this warning in case anybody might be slightly triggered by that. However, despite this, the book is actually really lighthearted and hilarious at times. What really saves it from being dark and depressing is the frequent appearance of Sarah's children and Bones's bonding moments with them. This book is packed with so many cute scenes with the kids that really take away from the darkness and of Sarah's backstory. Sarah is awesome. I wanted to give her a hug so many times. I can't even imagine having to endure what she did. I certainly wouldn't have come out of it as strong-willed as her. I love Bones. I love how no matter what Sarah threw at him, he was willing to be with her no matter what. And this might sound weird, but I love that Sarah has food allergies. It had no real relevance on the plot and the book would still make sense without it, but I just felt it was a nice little touch. I also have a few friends in real life who have food allergies and I can honestly say that they've never heard of a romance heroine who has them as well.

Bones is a hero that makes my heart melt! Sarah has had such a hard life. From her horrible childhood to her experiences with the father of her children. Bones's brother literally rescued Sarah and her family. Then he and his family adopted them. The way the family looks out for each other is heartwarming. I wish more people were like this. The story of Bones and Sarah is fantastic. I loved seeing Sarah learn to trust him and herself. The stronger she becomes the stronger their relationship. I will go back and read the other stories in this series because the characters are so great.

There is so much good to say about this book. My mind is literally tripping over itself trying to come up with the right words to describe how much I love Bones and Sarah. This is a perfect story of how what you’ve been through, no matter how horrible, doesn’t have to define you as a person. The cycle doesn’t have to repeat itself. And with Sarah having Bones and his protective, loving nature at her side she is able to gather even more of her own internal strength. And oh my gosh the rest of the Whiskey’s and their friends were just the perfect mix thrown in. I’m understanding Biggs and his ways even more now.

Wicked Whiskey Love is an emotional love story about an Oncologist biker named Bones Whiskey and his adoration of Sarah, mother of two with another baby on the way. Sarah has had abusive relationships from the beginning and doesn’t feel worthy of the affection that she gets from Bones. I really enjoyed this book. The story line is a bit different than Melissa Foster’s typical books, more in depth and heartfelt. I laughed and cried and felt like I was right there in the story. It touched on a few topics that many people don’t feel comfortable discussing. Melissa Foster did a wonderful job in broaching those subjects. Do yourself a favor and invest in this book. You will not be disappointed. I love the Whiskey’s and I think Bones is my favorite hero this far.
