Overview

Dani doesn't know she's a powerful witch - her unknown protectors murdered before passing on their knowledge. Now, evil sets their murderous intent on Dani: wanted dead--not alive, before she discovers she's the only witch powerful enough to stop the ultimate evil from rising. Join thousands experiencing Wilde & Witchy Today-- "A cold shower is needed after reading this series!" Sassy. Steamy. Magical...

All Dani Harper wanted was a vacation in the one place she could still call home.
After tragedy strikes and she loses her mother, Dani needs a dose of the next best thing--her Aunt Marni, her three never-seem-to-age Siamese cats, some much needed summer sun, and endless moonlight and mojitos under the bright starry island sky each night.

What she got, was thrown into the middle of two murder investigations, an old flame--in the form of the sexy local police chief--telling her the supernatural not only exists, but that she's a witch with a price on her head. He offers protection from this supernatural hitman, but Dani soon finds out its her heart and soul that needs the protection most because she's falling--again--for Galen Wilde, and he's got a wicked supernatural secret of his own.

I love that everything wasn't detailed such as unnecessary details of decore etc. It didn't have to have all the cuss words to make it likeable. Even I hated the idea on auntie dying. Good work keep it up cuss less, sex was good. 4 stars story 1 less for all unnecessary cussing.

This is a relatively short story about a witch who doesn’t know she’s a witch. She is coming back to visit her aunt after her mother is murdered but before she can get off the ferry she hears the sheriff tell the captain not to let anyone off until he has a chance to come aboard. She thinks that it can’t be good news for someone. Unfortunately the someone is her. The sheriff also happens to be the man she never stopped loving even though she is the one who left. This story contains some steamy sex scenes so if that isn’t something you like, this book isn’t for you. It could use some help with editing as well.

Of all the things one can find to hate about a series, the worst is when the author is so blatantly concerned with quickness and quantity of publishing rather than quality story-telling. There may be a nugget of a creative idea in here somewhere, but it gets lost among the slap-dash writing and sloppy editing. Even the explicit sex scenes and gratuitous cursing aren't bothersome until you realize they're randomly and obviously tossed in to compensate for a clear lack of skill in fleshing out a compelling tale. Fellow picky readers, heed my advice and pass on this one
