I have already read Crossroads in Time and Footsteps in Time. This 100 odd page book was set in the middle of Footsteps in time from the view of Marged. Where Footsteps in time was mainly from the viewpoint of the 2 kids this book explained how Marged came back to 13th centery Wales. They described this event in Footsteps as a great feet being she had to travel from England to Wales on her own, and being a woman, so being able to go through the journey with Meg was really interesting. I started reading the series with Crossroads so I fell in love with Meg and Llwelyn as a couple, even cried when Meg was taking back to the 21st centery during the labor, and was disappointed when the 2 weren't together in the first half of Footsteps, and then still a little disappointed when you never got a chance to see their side or see them together on their own. Especially when Meg returned we weren't able to see the couple alone since they would keep everything in check (emotions etc.) until they were in private. We only knew they were happy to finally be together. Footsteps was also very fast paced where as Winds brought back the detail and good pace, still fast paced since there was so much going on but the details were intact you didn't feel left out of any juicy details that you want to learn about. Being the third book I read in the series the Welsh in the book has gotten easier to read through. I hope their is more Meg and Llwelyn in the upcoming books becuase they are my favorite couple, even though I do like the other main characters as well. I also enjoyed getting to know how Meg and Aaron were able to meet, get to know each other, and watch them become friends. Going through the story with Meg was a treat, we all knew that Llwelyn was alive but according to her history he was not, so we were able to follow her and see the suspence build up trying to find out if he was still alive. Then to see if she would ever find him and if he still wanted her. Being able to read about her reactions and nervousness about the situation was quite realistic and great for the story, becuase it was a total different Meg from the first time she entered Wales.

Loved the entire series. If she wrote more of them I would get them too. Not a dull moment and not a lot of repetative dialog either which made it good. If time travel and historical novels are your thing then you'll love this series.

Very good series. I recommend it. Hard to put down once you start!

This novella explains how Meg gets back to the past; it is similar to a "deleted scene" in a movie - if you haven't read the series, it's a good short story, but will leave you with alot of questions. If you have read the series, you'll want to read this to find out what happened.

If you have read FOOTSTEPS IN TIME, you have pretty much read this. Very little is reviled that is new and from what I can gather, this short can be skipped.
