Volume II is the second in the 6-volume "Wings of Valor" series that explores the birth, evolution and development of U.S. Army and Air Force Combat aviation. Volume II relates the history of the first two years of war in the Pacific, where the courage and ingenuity of American airmen turned the tide of the war. Stories are explored through the lives of Medal of Honor Recipients.
