Overview

The Baba Yaga job hadn't come with a witch's guide to a magical life.

Ahmed is leaving and people are escaping the magic pokey. Carol—aka the Baba Yaga—is winging it the best she can in this new light paranormal installment of the Baba Yaga Adventures.

She's got a jailbreak at the magical pokey to deal with and two persistent men wanting to take her bed. The warlock geezer guarding the jail thinks he saw a dragon. Carol thinks it's an old enemy come back to seek revenge. Sorting out her love life? That's going to have to wait.

How did any of her predecessors ever do this job without zapping everyone in sight? Carol has no freaking idea but now she's under orders from the former Jezibaba to pick a warlock posse before her familiar leaves. Ahmed's sentence has been served and he's done. Her goose is cooked if she has to drag warlocks along to do her work. Why can't people just back off and let her do the job her way?

Turns out everyone's time is up, including hers.

Witches Guide To A Magical Life is a fun whimsical read with lots of humor and crazy adventure thrown in. I enjoyed the antics of Carol and Fabio, even though she did keep him on ice some of the time, their story is full of surprises.

Witch’s Guide to a Magical Life by Donna McDonald Baba Yaga Adventures #2 Fun, silly, spoof-like paranormal tale that has Carol the Baba Yaga witch protector dealing with a whole lot of changes. She is losing her familiar, needs to create a warlock posse to be her team in the future, has to fight an old foe and also needs to deal with a gorgeous man who claims he is her soul mate. Never a dull moment in this quick read that took me away from reality for a few hours today. Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review. 4 Stars

It is a Paranormal Treat when McDonald comes out with a new book. Baba Yaga formally Carol is the reining Magical Witch President. In this 2nd installment in this series Carol is faced with changes in her life that has her cranky even with her 80's wardrobe. Again get a peek at Hilda; Carol's friend and healer of paranormal beings. Just a feel good humorous look at dealing with the job and the changes in her personal team. "A copy of this book was provided by author with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion." DON'T Miss a Thing - - Pick up Book 1 to TREAT Yourself to this Magical Mayhem.

Oh boy…check reality at the front page because this ride is gonna get bumpy! Carol, the Baba Yaga is back and she’s grumpy, she’s tired, and she’s hangry. There’s so much going on that I won’t tell you anything about the story however I can tell you what I enjoyed. The Baba Yaga is having a bad…week. She is fighting demons, her friends, and herself. She’s even getting lip from her familiar! She needs to choose warlocks as her protectors (think of them as her back-up crew) and the process is hilarious. Carol thinks that the Baba Yaga position should come with an instruction manual because something new goes wrong every time she turns around. It made me laugh, start to finish, and it truly was a case of ‘what will the Baba Yaga do next’? Lots of fun.
