I was caught up in the story in the first few pages and didn't want to stop reading. Katy Evans writes so well that I've already bought another of her books and pre-ordered another.

AudioBook Review: Stars: Overall 5 Narration 5 Story 5 Oh forbidden (or at least not quite the Best Idea) romances are wonderful, when they aren’t overly trite. And the one thing that Katy Evans does well is bring a completely unique feel to a familiar trope. Olivia is an intern AND a little sister to her major man-crush’s best friend. But, she’s packing plenty of brains and savvy behind that pretty blonde exterior. And, spying this cool, confident, copper-haired and scruffy specimen on the terrace at work is just a bonus, until that golden gaze catches her, and the electricity sparks between them. Callan Carmichael is a billionaire with a bad-boy façade and a string of women waiting to be on his arm. So he can’t be tied down to just one, particularly since none ever captivated his attention AND turned him on. Until Her. Olivia. Sister of his best friend, intern at his company, and willing bedmate who won’t let him get closer. Evans just played with our emotions here: we see Olivia’s fight to prove her mettle in the business world, and her determination to not be sidelined or distracted by a man, ANY man, even Callan. She’s got a plan, and he doesn’t fit into it. But, as a friend with the occasional (or not so) benefits, the arrangement is more than satisfactory. It was easy to understand her concerns, but despite it all, with off the charts steamy sex and the Callan she is coming to know, love isn’t looking like such a bad idea. It’s up to Callan to convince her that she can have everything, and he’d break through walls to get it for her. Narration in this story is from Grace Grant and Sebastian York, and they are both wonderfully adept, using their understanding of the characters and the written words to give listeners a real sense of “being there”. Emotions are clearly available, never over-reaching to make a point, but the confusion, desire, enjoyment in one another’s company and little moments of vulnerability allow the listener to engage and understand exactly what is happening at any moment. I love this series for the moments and characters: the one where they finally see just how wonderful their together is, and the struggles they go through deciding between that and their carefully laid plans. You can take these titles alone, or start from the beginning: each story deals with a different couple and their path, and leaving you wanting more. I received an AudioBook copy of the title from Simon and Schuster Audio for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Just when you think it can't get any better Katy Evans gives us an fantastic read that I hope this review will do justice to. Book 4 in the series but I can assure you it can be read as a standalone. Callan Carmichael is the last man standing not looking for love or commitment but that was before he met the new intern Olivia Roth who just happens to be his best friend Tahoe's baby sister. Olivia has a plan 3 months as an intern in Callans Chicago company then back home to work for others until she is 25 and then start her own business and maybe by the time she is 28 she will meet her husband and settle down. What starts off as two people having an innocent shared cigarette on a roof top terrace becomes so much more it turns into a forbidden attraction with some hilarious moments along the way. A drink in a bar, a sexy dance and before you know lines have been crossed if only she had know he was her boss and not the mailman !! This book for me is the best in the series once I started it I was not sleeping until I had read the last page. Sad to see this series end off course but what a way to end Katy Evans left the best to last. This book is about forbidden love, friendship and so much more, a billionaire alpha male and a sassy know what she wants young girl it was perfect and did I mention the sizzling steamy hot sex !!! It was an easy book to read but that doesn't mean it will be an easy book to forget. Fantastic end to a brilliant series

Missing pages, pages went from dark to highlighted white, then actual blank pages. Wasted my money! This is my first review due to my disappoinment with this last book.

**4.5 Stars** Where do I begin with this? I gushed to a friend the entire time I read this book saying things like "you need to read this book!" "I'm loving Womanizer" "Callao is my new favorite" all of those things and more are so true about how I feel about this book. I didn't know it was part of the Manwhore series when I started, don't worry it can be read as a standalone, but I can honestly say I'm going back to read the others now. I can't get enough of this book and the characters in it. Olivia Roth. I loved her character. She has a plan and a goal and she wasn't going to let anything get in her way of it. The only problem? She didn't realize Callan Carmichael would happen. After landing a know internship at Carma (with the help from her brother) she finds herself in Chicago and soon finding she is learning from the best of the best. What she doesn't expect to happen is to fall into his bed and in love with him. There attraction was strong and their story is hot. There are so many things that could get in their way, but one of the biggest ones is Livvy's brother, Tahoe, Callan's BFF. Callan Carmichael is hot. The man screams sex and he knows it. Owning his own company at 28 is a huge deal, it consumes him. He has no time or need for everything else, until Livvy steps out onto the Terrace at Carma. What started out as a favor for Tahoe over time it becomes something so much more. Callan is all in and he finally found the woman who makes him want it all. I can't wait to read the other stories and fall even more in love with Callan and this series. Katy did an amazing job with this one and I can't wait for more by her.

Katy Evans is a one-click author for me, but even if she wasn't, I had to get Womanizer for no other reason than the stare-at-me cover. The cover is stunning, there’s no other words to describe it. The #hotsmokerguy did it for me but when I started reading the book… I did not know that It was possible to love a character so much, and for him to be pictured perfectly. This cover is Callan! In Womanizer, Olivia is working hard to get to her goal, and to do that, she is wanting to gain respect from the firm Carma inc that will get her to places she wants to go. She found the Internship thanks to her brother, but she is determined to make her mark, and use this position as a stepping stone. She found herself in Chicago with no friends until she meets the hot smoker guy at the roof terrace. "Let me know when you miss being a princess and I’ll see what I can do." Callan is the hot CEO who is used to getting whatever, and whomever he wants. He is a well-known, driven and excellent CEO, he's the best in the industry. He's also a highly sexual man and has slept with half the town. Callan and Livvy develop a friendship to start with but soon it became nearly impossible for them to deny their attraction for each other. There's that powerful pull that Livvy just can't seem to stay away from… there's too much of a magnetic pull no matter what her mind tells her she embarks on a journey that's forbidden but highly erotic, arousing, alluring and intense. Callan is a force-He enters a room and sucks all of the air out of it. “He’s like the testament to singleness. All his friends are taken, so now he’s the last man standing." When Callan and Livvy discover who they are for each other, they have to make a decision that could be life changing. “I want to be the woman that the man I want wants back. Don’t you want me?” Womanizer has it all- it’s funny, it's emotional, it's sexy and it has my favourite thing in it—fan-freakin-tastic characterisation. For me to fall in love with a book, I need to fall in love with the characters, and for me to fall in love with the characters they need to be truly realistic and relatable. Callan and Livvy are all of that and more, they're real, they have weaknesses and for that they are both immensely likeable. The biggest win for this book, is in fact Callan for me. “Don’t talk, act. Don’t say, show. Don’t promise, prove.” I love Katy Evans. And I loved the other books I’ve read from her, but this one, gah…was by far the best book I’ve read from her. Womanizer was an exceptional read. It had everything that I love in a contemporary romance. It was fun, it was fresh and last but not least it had some pretty hot moments between the two main characters.

OMG! THE COVER!! Smoking normally turns me off but between the cover and the chemistry between Olivia and her Hot Smoking Guy they made me forget I hate men that smoke. I enjoyed every page of their story from the first to the last. I love a good epilogue and loved that they got one set well into the future.

SO DAMN BORING. After reading the Stage Dive Series from Kylie Scott, the Wild Seasons and Beautiful series from Christina Lauren - I had high hopes on this book and the Manwhore series. The book is slow, erotic scenes lack real good details. I think there were more details written out about the clothing they wore and the type of work they did! Scenes in general jump from one to the next with little transition which kept me going back to reread parts because I thought I may have missed something important. Nope. Nothing important. Very disappointed.

Womanizer by Katy Evans is the fourth book in her Womanizer series. It is told in mostly Olivia Roth's POV but we do get a few bits from Callan Carmichael. This book can be read as a standalone but the series is written on a progressive timeline so if you plan to read the series, read them in order or be prepared to be spoiled on other characters storylines. Callan is best friends with none other than Malcolm Saint (Manwhore, Manwhore +1, Ms. Manwhore) and Tahoe Roth (Ladies Man). Olivia is Tahoe's younger sister. She is set to intern at Callan's company for a few months in Chicago and then head back home to New York. At least, that was the plan. This book had the best meet cute ever. I mean rooftop terrace, anonymous meetings, etc., etc. And then the bottom fell out from under Olivia when she finally realized who Hot Smoker Guy was! The book isn't overly dramatic, it is just an endearing and amorous tale of two people falling in love and realizing that the plans you have set for yourself may no longer be the plans that are right for you. I love everything I've read by Katy Evans so far and this is NO exception! Enjoy!

Womanizer can be read as a stand alone, but includes some characters from previous books in the series. I’ve enjoyed a few of Katy Evans other books and so I was happy to pick up this one. Olivia is ready to get some experience in the business world as an intern before heading back home to her dream job. What better way to get her foot in the door than at Carma, the company owned by Callan Carmichael, her brother’s best friend. She doesn’t expect to find herself falling into his bed and the intense attraction. She’s only supposed to be there for 3 months and what if her brother finds out? Katy delivers another great steamy story that you won’t want to put down.

Book. Hangover. Commence. Katy Evans has outdone herself with Callan and Olivia's book. A wickedly sinful romance mixed with the forbidden best friend's sister trope, and topped off with a mind-blowingly enchanting story is just the beginning of the latest from Ms. Evans. I didn't think anyone could outdo Maverick or Saint... but oh Mr. Carmichael bring fifty shades of power, delectable-ness and eroticism to the table. And then you have Olivia who brings just as much power, but also her own sass, and strength. Olivia and Callan are to die for. Honestly. These two combust off the pages and bring you into their breathtakingly passionate world, and there's no stopping in sight. For me, this might be one of the top reads of the year. A true must-read for anyone looking for a non cookie cutter story, that will make your emotions spiral and your heart ache and sing for these two relatable and lovable characters! Happy Reading! *ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*

Another amazing book by Katy Evans! Twenty-two years old Olivia Roth is fresh out of college and has her future planed: work at Radisson Investments to learn how to help to save struggling businesses, start her own company at twenty-six, meet her future husband at twenty-eight. Thanks to her brother, she is starting a summer internship at Carma, Inc. What she didn't expect was meeting Callan Carmichael, her new boss and her brother's best friend. Twenty-eight years old Callan Carmichael is the last man standing in his group of friends. He is single and his life is his company. He loves it. But he didn't expect meeting Olivia Roth, his best friend's little sister and new intern at Carma, Inc. I loved Womanizer! The story is incredible and it hooked me from the first page. I loved the banter between Olivia and Callan! It was hilarious! And the steamy, sexy scenes? Out of this world! I was always on the edge, waiting for when Olivia's brother would find out about Olivia and Callan's relationship. Olivia Roth is a sweet and kind young woman that knows what she wants. She is driven and ambitious. She works hard to get what she wants even though her whole family treats her like a princess. She started her internship focused on her job and her career, but meeting Callan made her question her everything. Callan Carmichael is a business man that lives for his company and his job. He is driven and focused, working hard to succeed. He's viewed as a "shark", but that's only the side he chooses to show to people. He is also very sweet and gentle. He made me swoon a lot!He thought he was living the perfect life, being single and focusing only on his company, until he met Olivia. Once again, Katy Evans hits the jackpot! Womanizer is an amazing book with a captivating story and awesome characters. It is beautifully and flawlessly written, making the reader connect with the story and the characters. Now, I really need to read Rachel and Saint's story and I can't wait to read Wynn and Emmett's book.

3.5 - Sleeping with the boss is sexy. Stars! The fourth book in Katy Evans’ Manwhore series brings us Callan Carmichael and Olivia Roth’s story, both likeable characters, entertaining as a couple, and the author used one of my favourite tropes in that Callan is a close friend of Olivia’s older brother Tahoe. Having not read any of the previous books in the series, Womanizer can absolutely be read as a standalone, and characters from the previous books are included but not in a confusing way. "I’m not the Devil… I just choose to allow some people to believe that I am." The only thing I wonder would have enhanced my reading experience of this book would be to have gotten more of a look at Callan pre-Olivia, because for me he didn’t really live up to the moniker of Womanizer in this story. He was actually really sweet, considerate, a little snarky, plenty sexy and just a generally likeable guy. I liked Olivia as well, she came across as pretty sheltered and a little naïve, and although it seemed pretty obvious to me who Hot Smoker Guy was from the offset, it took our guileless heroine a little longer to work out to that it wasn’t the mail-room guy she was crushing on unashamedly. I’m ready. I’ve got a lot to prove, especially to myself. And I’m here to learn how to play with the big guys in the big leagues. But I also found it pretty charming in that their first meeting and interactions all took place of the sharing of a cigarette, something that nowadays is quite an old fashioned, and also unfashionable concept. However, it did get a little irksome as the story progressed, in relation to the amount of page time and writing devotion that is given to the act of smoking a cigarette, whether it be one or both of them doing it. You can see the direction the story is going to go pretty much from the offset, but for all that it was still a pretty enjoyable read, with a few funny moments, and relationship built around a genuinely likeable couple, and a healthy dose of added flavour from the secondary characters involved as well. "A guy like you wouldn’t go by without leaving marks along the way…" "How would you know?" "Because you already did." This is a voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
