This band is great. I hadn't heard about them until this album, but now i'm buying up all the rest. The incorporate and orchestrate sound with hard rock. They don't sing, but bring in great lead singers from other bands. I'm Not Jesus (featuring Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour), I Don't Care (with Adam Goutier of Three Days Grace) S.O.S (featuring Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil), and Helden (featuring Till Lindemann of Rammstein). All four songs are amazing and with the string work, they are just powerful. I would totally recommend this album to anyone. APOCALYPTICA!!!

I first heard of Apocalyptica through a good friend of mine. She really likes them. In honor of their release of 7th Symphony...and seeing as how I couldn't review that album...I decided I would go ahead and revisit World's Collide and write a review on it. I had not listened to World's Collide in a while, which is a shame, because it's a very good album. I like how these guys create rock/metal sound with amplified string instruments like violin and cello and whatnot...drums too of course. Many of their songs are purely instrumental, but they do bring in guest vocalists too that are pretty good. In this album, they brought in lead singers from the likes of Slipknot/Stone Sour, Rammstein, Lacuna Coil, and Three Days Grace...and in the new one they have guest lead singers from the likes of Flyleaf (a personal favorite of mine), Bush, Shinedown, and Gojira. Both this album and 7th Symphony are very good. I have heard a little of their Metallica covers, but I still have yet to explore older albums of theirs, but I'm sure they're pretty good. If you are into rock/metal, this is a good group. They are interesting, and they have some good music to offer. Check em out.
