Shaunie Boyd has been estranged from her three sisters and disowned by her father for nearly ten years. Pain and heartache forced her to run away from everything she knew to be real. But when the call came that her beloved mother, Emma, was dying she knew she had to return to the small, rural Mississippi town that had been her world so long ago. When she arrives she finds her mother has already passed away and the family she fled so many years ago is in worse shape than ever. Her sisters are each fighting their own demons, her father still won’t talk to her, and it seems everyone is on the verge of a breakdown. The mother they all loved and cherished is gone and the close family she built lay in ruins at her casket. To top it all off, Shaunie discovers the only man she’s ever loved is back in town too with a devastating secret that will change her life forever. Can she weather the storm, keep her sisters close and hold it all together as Worlds Collide?

This book, oooooh this book. The emotions that this book pulled out of me. The lessons learned, the love showed, the trials, heartache, life, the ugliness of the heart, the truth....FORGIVENESS. Oh this book, oooooooh this book it was delicious. Your heart hurts, smiles, gets disappointed, is lonely, sorrowful, cries, astonished, ashamed, appalled, gets hopeful, is loved, gets cleansed, apologizes, is scared, indignant, angry. This book ooooooh what emotions this book draws out. Its final closing is TRUTH, LOVE, and FORGIVENESS. Thank you Janice Neal for bringing the message forth and a blessing in return. Continue to serve HIM, the cost is worth it all. That is why JESUS died for us -- all these emotions, the trials, filth, unjust, sinful and some more; never giving up, leaving, casting us aside -- just gently calling us unto HIM through SALVATION. What a SWEET, WONDERFUL LOVING FATHER to send HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON JESUS just for me (make it personal and hold tight to it). Then HE sent me a mother who taught me who HE is to her and I made it personal to me -- what a blessing HE has in store -- it's that window HE speaks about -- HE will open it up and pour out a blessing that there is not room enough to receive. HE makes me FULL; HE consumes me. I feel if I could just snatch HIM off the Throne and hold HIM so tight that you cannot tell where HIS DNA starts and mine begin; that is how intertwined I am with HIM. The book was and is a blessing to me; it is not by accident that I read this book it was a part of my path. All praises are due to GOD, the FATHER, GOD, the SON and GOD, the Holy Spirit. Obedience brings about Blessing. "And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of the rams." 1 Samuel 15:22
