This book is a great resource for anyone who is new to yoga. It lays out a little of the history of yoga, and organizes poses based on the physical area that they intend to benefit. If you're someone who has considered using yoga to help with health, this would be a great introduction to see if you think it might work for you. The instructions are clear and concise, and there are pictures for each pose. Because it is organized by which physical areas it targets, it would also be a great reference for those who are already familiar with yoga and use it for specific purposes, for instance to relieve back pain.
