Yucat�n's fields

The stagnating economy of Yucatán was briefly revived by the export to the United States. Several Spaniards moved to the Kingdom due to its booming economy. A mestizo woman, Huelva, was removed from her home due to the construction of a road that required the demolishment of her home village. It was only after she moved to Mérida, that she realised that her loss was actually a blessing in disguise.
