As a teacher I find this book to be valuable in many ways. This wordless book is one delightful surprise after another. It is wonderful from an artistic point of view as well as acting as a spring board for creative thought, writing, and just plain fun.

I bought this book when it first came out, back in 1995. I didn't have any children. I didn't expect to have any children. I bought this book because it was the most amazing book I had ever seen. It still amuses, intrigues and amazes me. There is no text, except for the writing within the illustrations. None is needed or wanted. Tonight I "read" this book to my almost-five-year-old son. He was almost as fascinated with it as I am. Once he worked out what was going on in the illustrations, he was drawn into the book and could not wait to see what was going to happen on the next page.

My students were energized in their writing after we "read" this book. We now say that when we write, we want to give a detail the reader would never expect to find.

I am now on my third copy as people kept 'borrowing' the first two. I use it when running workshops with teachers, to encourage discussion. Kids love looking for the connection between pictures. I've pulled it apart so the pages can be moved around and put in order. Re-Zoom is just as good.

Zoom is one of those books that you can read over and over and still want to read it more.I love the illustrations and the way that you go from one place to the other.
