"You Unstuck" is one of those great books filled with helpful knowledge -- some of which I didn't know I already knew and a lot more which is helping to put a lot of the pieces together. Pieces that are literally helping me to get "Unstuck" even as I'm reading them. Libby Gill's book is helping me to identify elements in my life that I didn't have the proper perspective to understand why they've keeping me down and holding me back. She takes which could be a very daunting task -- self-exploration into why certain patterns keep repeating in a negative fashion -- and helps to break it all down into bite-sized and manageable chunks.
The CSE (Clarify, Simplify & Execute) process that Libby developed and introduces in "You Unstuck" is a very straight-forward and easy way to begin to unravel sometimes complex issues. Once I got the details of it going, I was able to CSE my way through even simple day-to-day tasks that I would otherwise tend to procrastinate over. (Sticking a PostIt on my computer monitor to remind me to CLARIFY - SIMPLIFY - EXECUTE has been remarkably helpful...)
One of the most enjoyable things about "You Unstuck" is that it's written in a way that sounds like advice coming from a person talking to another person, as opposed to a cold, clinical "How To" approach or a scattergun blast of folksy advice aimed at no one in particular. And because it's designed to be applied to a variety of challenges, all of which contribute to keeping you "stuck", the book is like having a Life Coach on retainer!
