Sixty year old Roger Grant had been married thirty-five years and practiced law for the same thirty-five years. He was very successful at one and not at the other. Whatever magic or satisfaction there had been in either was now gone. His realization of these truths came to him suddenly in a dreary winter courtroom, and he decided then and there to quit, to go and find a new life in the sun. He found leaving one-half of his life easy and the other not.
