Flat Sunlight: Poems 1967-1972

The author was raised in a military family and went into the U.S. Air Force to fly. As a transport pilot in C-141 and C-130 aircraft, he flew to many destinations in the northern hemisphere, but most of his work involved cargo and medical air evacuation work related to the Vietnam War. This collection evolved from notes on his experiences and observations while flying during that intense 5-year period.
