Overview

131 Days by Keith C Blackmore

Strength.
Honor.
Death.

Once every year, in the city of Sunja, gladiators meet within the arena known as Sunja's Pit.

Men such as Baylus, Goll, and Halm enter for the lure of fortune. Others enter for the fame. And some simply for the fight.

The games continue for days, until a champion is finally crowned. Or all who are involved perish.

This is blood sport at its finest. At its worst. At its longest.

NOTE: This is a novel of approx. 600+ pages or 280,000 words.
Some graphic language and violence.

As a fan of the early episodes of the Tv series Spartacus, I did enjoy this book. Had a good story and plot to it. Author was detailed enough for me to picture everything in my head.

I think I liked the bicep on the cover most about this book. I'm sure if I were ina mood to read something like this, it could've drew me in, but I just wasn't intetested. The dialogue didn't feel authentic enough for me. Too modern ''American'' for my tastes.
