Great book! And fondant is NOT disgusting - if you make fondant yourself from scratch...when you do that you can add flavorings too...I agree that store-bought is awful, but homemade is great.

Really enjoy having this book on my shelf. I bought this book specifically for the Noah's Ark cake because I was doing a cupcake tower for a babyshower and it was the only book I found that had an example for my top peice. The other ideas are also really cute ideas. I do not always follow the instructions, but it gives a good visual. I have to agree that not all fondant is disgusting. The store bought kind is not great tasting, but I am a true believer that fresh is always better. You can make your own fondant from marshmallow which is quite delicious and not difficult to do.

What a wonderful book full of bright colored photos. Perfect for the cake decorating enthusiast. Of all the many books I have I rate this one tops.

Great ideas, but hate that EVERYTHING is fondant. I despise fondant- it's disgusting & many people agree with me- so I stick to tradtional frosting. Cute ideas in here, so I can convert them into frosted cakes.
