About the Author

I am a retired special education teacher who enjoys telling stories. Now that I have the time, I can focus on create my stories. The White Cheyenne is my third book. I have authored "Whispers of Fate" and its sequel "Whispers of the Heart". They all three tell a story about a young girl who finds herself alone and struggles to find herself or her family in different setting types. My female characters have a little bit of myself in each story as I was raised on a ranch in a small town in south Texas. I write for enjoyment, and I write to entertain. I hope whoever buys my books enjoy reading them as I enjoyed writing them.

The main character, K-Ox, reminded me of myself. Life can throw you curves and the young female character in this book had to deal with them as she moved on from her life as she knew it in search of truth. K-Ox is strong, wise, curious and marched to her own drum. The author wrote in such a way that you felt her pain and struggles. I loved, loved the book.
