A Race Apart

A Race Apart is a novel of a forgotten Olympian runner, Joshua Sellers, a Jewish American runner who wants to win a gold medal in the summer of 1936 in Nazi Germany. The characters are based on significant, or lesser known historical figures. They include the participants of the 4x100 meter Olympic team, those who ran for the American squad, and those who did not compete because they were Jewish.
