About the Author

Jason Myers was born in 1980, and grew up on a farm outside of Dysart, Iowa. After graduating high school, he studied film at the Academy Of Art University in San Francisco. His first book, Exit Here, was published in 2007 by Simon & Schuster and became an underground sensation, earning him an incredibly fierce and loyal following. Since Exit Here, he's had four successful novels also published by Simon & Schuster and two novella's, Destroy(S&S) & Skullburn '77(EHM).

In 2015, Jason founded Exit Here Media, which boasts a stimulating and exciting variety of weekly columns written by himself and an amazing group of visionary and talented contributors. A Sad History Of Beautiful Nostalgia is Jason's sixth book and the first ever release from Unicorn Panther Publishing(U.P.P), the publishing arm of Exit Here Media.

He still lives in San Francisco-the one, true love of his life-and has no plans to leave it, even in its most disappointing hours.

Pretentious, crude, and overall, the most eye roll worthy book I have read in a long time. I liked this author's books when I was a young teen, but the older I get, the more I see his books have nothing to offer except their attempts at being deep, edgy, and artsy (and failing). I hoped a memoir style book would be different, but it was even worse. Terrible writing, awful characters, bad story, nothing enjoyable.
