Really enjoyed this one!  Was a quick read with an unexpected twist!

A bit too simplistic for my tastes, and by the end I just felt rushed by the author. I had high hopes for Mrs. O'Hare at the start of the story, but she had lost me completely by the end.

I enjoyed this short story emensely. The twists and turns of this page turner kept my attention. Yet it was also a light enjoyable read in many ways that was not excessively dark. I was most impressed by the excellent writing skills of this author. So many books distract from the plot with poor sentence structure, contex related spelling errors etc. This was not the case in this book. Although the end was a bit unrealistic it also added a certain element of surprise unique to this story. It will not be forgotten any time soon!

I only rate this book three stars because it just didn't have much excitement in it, and the romance was just very average, but I was surprised at who the murderer was, it turned out to be an interesting ending.

Started reasonably and turned inyo an over-the-top vampire bodice ripper.

You would think an author with as much experience and exposure as Danley claims to have would demonstrate a better grasp of verb conjugation and the ability to routinely finish her predicates. Alas, you would be wrong. 2 stars, for grammar and a predictable, saccharine plot.

If it hadn't been such a short book I wouldn't have finished it. The writing and editing were ok. The story line was lacking. I won't read any more of her work. D in NH

This little 100 page book packs a lot into its story. What begins with a grieving widow who is being haunted by the ghost of a murdered house maid, turns into something altogether different and quite unexpected. Well worth the time to read!

I enjoyed nearly every aspect of this story... except for some of the minor characters  names... just didn't seemed a good fit to me... however this will not keep me from reading other titles by this author.
