New York Times and USA TODAY Bestselling author of Science Fiction and Paranormal Romance brings another action, adventure, and suspense-filled story to transport readers out of this world.

Abby Tanner is content to live on her mountain creating her beautiful works of art and enjoying the peace and quiet. All of that changes when a strange golden space ship crash lands on it. Now, Abby has to deal with a golden ship, a tortured alien, and an insane local sheriff.

Zoran Reykill knew he had to find a safe place to heal after he escapes from a Curizan military post. When his symbiosis Mothership takes him to an unknown planet he finds more than he expects – he finds his true mate. The only problems are Abby doesn’t understand a thing he says and the local sheriff wants her, too. There is only one thing the King of Valdier can do, abduct his true mate.

Now Zoran has his hands full trying to keep his true mate safe in his own world while trying to help her accept her new life. He will need all the help he can get to help his stubborn human accept she can make a life in a place other than her mountain back on Earth. He just needs to keep her alive long enough to enjoy it and away from the other males on his planet who wouldn’t mind helping her accept her new sensual body.

One thing he knows he will never regret – abducting Abby.

After reading all of this series currently avalable (through to the old dragons christmas) I have to say I enjoyed them very much. The first three were a bit repetitious when read back to back but once u get past these 3 the stories open up and grow marvelously. So if u plan to read the series don't give up till after book 4. U will b pleasently surprised with their growth.

I enjoyed reading this book, the story held my attention from the first page to the last page. It was approx. 180 page story. I was happy to see at the end of the story that the next one in the series was mentioned, because I'm new to reading S.E. Smith and since she has many stories out and many connected series I was not sure where to start, I think I guessed right with Abby & Zorens story. I am looking forward to the next book. I have found a new author and am happy she has so many in the series out, and I get to read them in order right away. Yippie...got to go start the next book in the series now. If you have not read this author you should start now she's very good!

Book one introduces you to the cast of characters which you follow during the series. Strong female lead and hunky male with alpha tendencies make for a great read.

this book had a nice flow was only a bit confusing, but that is to be expected in any book that is a bit out of this world. I liked she didn't skip over the getting to know each other period. It was about 180 pages but she fills them to the brim, its hard to put down, and last for awhile.

This book was great! It had some really funny moments but was also very touching and sweet. Of course, it is an erotic romance so there are some HOT scenes. I loved the way Zorans love and concern for Abby just seemed to flow from him right off the page. I also liked that Goldie was its own character. I will read this one again... and, for me, those books that you can read over and over are the best.

I really am enjoying SE Smith's books. This is the first of Dragon Lords of Valdier series. We meet Zoran the king of Valdier and his brothers. Zoran has landed on Earth so that he could find a safe place to heal from his injuries until his brother's can come for him. What he doesn't expect is to meet is his True mate, a human named Abby. There is quite a bit of humor since they are not able to communicate in the beginning. There is plenty of steamy romance and action. Only issue was some grammatical errors throughout the book.

Well, this was a different story for sure. It was really cool how the author used this alien life form that changes shape to be part of the warrior as well as the dragon. It was just a different twist to a dragon shifter story! There was action, suspense, steamy lovin, and just a really good read. Zoran and Abby's story is the first in the series.

The book description caught my attention, but I can't say I enjoyed the story. A lot of the plot seemed totally implausible, even within the fantasy of the story, such as sudden and complete shifts in beliefs and perspectives. (I don't want to spoil the plot for anyone who might read it so won't give specific examples.) Also, I skimmed through a lot of it due to all the sexual content. There are some who enjoy reading a lot of explicit sex scenes; I do not. Despite that there is more to the story, I will not get any of the subsequent books.

This book is currently free. It's excellent if you're into this genre of romance. It's the first of a series, and I can't wait to read the rest. Well written.
