After reading all of this series currently avalable (through to the old dragons christmas) I have to say I enjoyed them very much. The first three were a bit repetitious when read back to back but once u get past these 3 the stories open up and grow marvelously. So if u plan to read the series don't give up till after book 4. U will b pleasently surprised with their growth.

I enjoyed reading this book, the story held my attention from the first page to the last page. It was approx. 180 page story. I was happy to see at the end of the story that the next one in the series was mentioned, because I'm new to reading S.E. Smith and since she has many stories out and many connected series I was not sure where to start, I think I guessed right with Abby & Zorens story. I am looking forward to the next book. I have found a new author and am happy she has so many in the series out, and I get to read them in order right away. Yippie...got to go start the next book in the series now. If you have not read this author you should start now she's very good!

Book one introduces you to the cast of characters which you follow during the series. Strong female lead and hunky male with alpha tendencies make for a great read.

this book had a nice flow was only a bit confusing, but that is to be expected in any book that is a bit out of this world. I liked she didn't skip over the getting to know each other period. It was about 180 pages but she fills them to the brim, its hard to put down, and last for awhile.

This book was great! It had some really funny moments but was also very touching and sweet. Of course, it is an erotic romance so there are some HOT scenes. I loved the way Zorans love and concern for Abby just seemed to flow from him right off the page. I also liked that Goldie was its own character. I will read this one again... and, for me, those books that you can read over and over are the best.

I really am enjoying SE Smith's books. This is the first of Dragon Lords of Valdier series. We meet Zoran the king of Valdier and his brothers. Zoran has landed on Earth so that he could find a safe place to heal from his injuries until his brother's can come for him. What he doesn't expect is to meet is his True mate, a human named Abby. There is quite a bit of humor since they are not able to communicate in the beginning. There is plenty of steamy romance and action. Only issue was some grammatical errors throughout the book.

Rough Start to what Could be a Good Series  This is a fun dragon shifter aliens find true mate with some fun twists in it that build the world nicely and uniquely. The sexy times are  very sexy.  The writer shows the true grief of what leaving all you know would mean. I like all the characters. However, the first section  of the book drags. There is a villain that I don't think is really needed.  There is too much rape peril in the book. Cara, another woman who has been taken because she has seen too much, steals the show.  I  can't wait to read Cara's book, She is hyper and funny.  Overall, I enjoyed this but didn't love it. I think I will adore Cara's book though!

Well, this was a different story for sure. It was really cool how the author used this alien life form that changes shape to be part of the warrior as well as the dragon. It was just a different twist to a dragon shifter story! There was action, suspense, steamy lovin, and just a really good read. Zoran and Abby's story is the first in the series.

Loved this book! Another great one from this author. Editing could use improvement, but the heroine is great and the romance topnotch. Fun, sexy read.

Excellent novel... the others in the series are just as good (if not better). I don't know Ms. Smith so let me tell you about myself; I am male, 70 years of age, married, and a Retired Army Master Sergeant. I have 'started books' that I didn't finish; this was NOT one of them. I recommend it whole-heartedly! I DO recommend that of you have not already started reading this author, that you begin the series 'from the beginning' - it DOES make it easier to understand as you go along. I will tell you a secret (but only one) - you will have to read the book to learn more... The 'abduction' that occurs is NOT carried out by the 'Hero' but by an evil man. Abby is actually 'rescued' by her 'True Mate'. Buy the Novel! Read the Novel! You will NOT be Disappointed! I will leave the decision of whether (or not) to purchase succeeding books up to you... I have confidence that most of you WILL make the right decision.
