It's been twelve years since the monsters came and Jordan is desperate to prove that she can survive outside the high walls that protect their home. A.L. Shilling was born and raised in Southern California. She relocated to Michigan to get her BS from Calvin University. She spent a brief time back in Southern California earning her Master’s Degree from USC, then returned to Michigan and has been living the Midwestern life ever since.
She owns a local dance studio and is a dancer and choreographer for a professional dance company.
In her spare time, she enjoys writing stories in a variety of genres from Horror to Feel-Good Fantasy.
