About the Author

Shenita Etwaroo is an author and animal advocate who has published fiction, short stories, and numerous poems and articles. Her latest work includes the upcoming "A Rabbit Called Neon," aimed at young readers, alongside the newly released "Quest for Justice" Series, which launched with "Alexandra."

Shenita holds a doctorate in religious studies, as well as several diplomas and certificates in theology, veterinary sciences, healthcare, and animal law and humane studies. Although she has been writing for many years, her formal work began while teaching English and literature at a secondary school.

Shenita has had a lifelong love for animals; from her earliest years, she would provide food and shelter for helpless, abandoned creatures. A special connection she shared with her bunny, Neon (Neo), called her to become a vegan and animal advocate.

For more than seven years, Shenita has been aligned with animal rights groups and shelters as an outspoken voice for the voiceless and vulnerable.

Shenita is actively pursuing ongoing advanced academia while continuing to write in honor of her beloved Neo, who forever changed her worldview and to whom she owes her life. Her works of fiction and non-fiction alike are an homage to animals everywhere without a human advocate.

Alexandra is a brilliantly written book that impresses upon readers the importance of striving for justice in a world driven by greed, immorality, and corruption. The powerful and courageous heroine takes the law into her own hands to avenge the senseless and brutal murder of her daughter, Angelia. With sword in hand, Alexandra Storm forges fearlessly down the path of righteousness, standing bravely for the downtrodden and destitute members of society who have been long forgotten by money-hungry politicians and government officials. Shenita Etwaroo’s impressive ability to create an imaginative setting and her emotionally charged writing make Alexandra a gripping read that I finished in one sitting. I highly recommend it!
