Despite not having run for office, nor wanting to remain in office, Representative Jeff Martini is being wooed as the Vice Presidential running mate for Senator Vincent Armstrong. They're up against a virulent anti-alien ticket supported by the Church of Intolerance, Club 51, and a host of their other enemies, both known and hidden. Plus, an influential gossip columnist called the Tastemaker may not be on their side.

While the Diplomatic Corps has to deal with the pressures of a political campaign sure to uncover secrets they don't want shared with the world, Ambassador Kitty Katt-Martini has additional worries.

Tracking down the hidden Yates Offspring before their enemies can find them all has been slow going, hindered by the devastating damage done to Centaurion Division's data and personnel during Operation Infiltration. But they need to find these hybrids and super-talented A-Cs in order to have a hope of fighting what's coming next.

Bio-weapon attacks that force the evacuation of the American Centaurion, Bahraini, and Israeli embassies, combined with bombs exploding all over D.C. and at major U.S. Centaurion Division Bases are bad enough. A little old lady who knows much more than she realizes in deadly danger and the emergence of the bad guys' Patient Zero complicate matters. But the arrival of another super-consciousness, determined to find ACE guilty of the crime of interference means the stakes are the highest they've been in a long while – and the coming fight could mean that Algar is exposed and taken from Earth, too.

Now, Kitty's in the middle of a Battle Royale that will decide more than just the next President of the United States – it's going to decide the fate of the world...and possibly the galaxy.

About the Author

About The Author
Gini Koch started writing in the American Southwest as something to do in between staring at pictures of good-looking leading men, but now sweats out the words, both literally and figuratively, in Hotlanta and dreams of dry heat.

She’s best known for her award-winning Alien/Katherine “Kitty” Katt series (formerly from DAW Books, now from Ginger Blue Publishing) which started with Touched by an Alien and has sixteen books out currently, with seventeen through twenty-one on the way.

Gini’s made the most of multiple personality disorder by writing under a variety of other pen names as well, including G.J. Koch (the Alexander Outland series), Anita Ensal, Jemma Chase, A.E. Stanton (the New West Series and the Legend of Belladonna series), and J.C. Koch, all with stories featured in excellent anthologies, available now and upcoming. She’s expanded the fun by co-writing with Bebe Bayliss (the Fall's Girl Mysteries and the Santa Paloma Mysteries), because it’s nice to have someone else who hears the same voices in their head.

No matter what length – from science fiction, fantasy, paranormal, space opera, urban fantasy, horror, mystery, thriller, dystopian, Westerns, romantic suspense, Weird West, and more – if it’s genre, she writes it.

She’s an avid follower of pop culture, comics, and anything and everything animated. She’s still inspired mostly by good-looking leading men and driven to keep her Canine Death Squad and Killer Kitties in kibble and treats because they’re both her cheering squad and one of her main distractions (and all the furred beasts say sorry not sorry about that).
