Alluring Ink by Ranae Rose

Love is risk. Love is heartbreak. Love is an addiction a single mom like Crystal can't afford. And accomplished tattoo artist Dylan is a temptation she can't resist. He's only in town for a few weeks as a guest artist, but the attraction is instant. With her past shadowing everything she does, it feels good to have someone who doesn't judge ... and doesn't know.

Love is just the spark before the crash and burn, especially when your demons are something more than standard-issue. Dylan craves Crystal with everything he has, but their days together are supposed to be numbered.

This is a love story about Dylan and Chyrstal. It goes beyond most stories of finds girl loses girl, gets girl. It tells of the struggle of addiction and horror of mental illness effects on the people who suffer with the illness and their loved ones. The author really brings home what Bi-Polar is and how it effects people.

This is a great series. This installment is no exception. It deals with real issues such as addiction and mental health and how this couple learns to find a way to deal with them and still find a way to be together. Looking forward to more in this series.

I adore this series and this book. I recommend reading them all. But I especially encourage you to read Irresistible Ink (Inked in the Steel City #6) before reading this book. In Irresistible Ink we meet James and his sister Crystal and it sets up this book. This book is a bit darker than the previous book in that it deals a recovering addict and the stigma attached to mental health issues. I think this is a fabulous story and an important one.
