About the Author

USA TODAY Bestselling author Chris Keniston's love of a good story and frustration with the end of a well known author's romance best seller, drove her to pen her own works of romance and fiction.

A native New Yorker, Chris was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!

Author of more than a dozen contemporary novels, including a finalist for the prestigious Golden Heart Award, Chris still lives in North Texas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue named Gunny. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.

In the popular contemporary sweet romance series, Farraday Country, Chris brings stories of falling in love, matchmaking, Texas Cowboys, family values, and all around entertaining shenanigans that fans have grown to love and expect from her bestselling books.

In both the original contemporary Aloha Series, and the second edition Sweet and Clean version of the Series, Chris tips her hat to the military writing poignant and sometimes funny stories of life with former military heroes. Using popular themes of small towns and sandy beaches blended with stories of the single dad, survivors guilt, an accidental wedding and so more continues to make the Aloha Series a reader's choice.

Readers won't want to miss Chris' romantic women's fiction novels that include a variety of themes from international settings dealing with wealthy millionaires, family feuds and tropical beaches, to the relationships between family and friends in small town Texas, and to sisterhood and friendship in the award winning novel The Champagne Sisterhood

It was great to not have to skip pages of written porn since there wasn’t any. This book had a story! Thank you for a pleasant reading experience.

Chris Keniston wrote a wonderful story of regrets, loss, and romance. This was not a cliffhanger. I was so caught up that I had to read to the epilogue. This was a great book and one for any adult. The story focused on feelings, and living with good details. I enjoyed the story and recommend it whole heartedly.

I loved reading this clean book. A lot of love and broken hearts. The story is so well written that I could feel the hurt of the young little boy wa.nting his mother and the daddy he had never known, his love for the woman taking care of him and her love for him. Well written and not a cliff hanger

I have never left a review before because it would have been negative. Aloha, Texas was just wonderful. Sweet and clean is what I am always hoping for, but rarely find. This book moved at a good pace with NO dull spots and the storyline carried it, not the sexy scenes. I don't need those; I have my own with my husband when I want them. I love reading about different locations that take me to different places in my mind, not someone else's bed. Many thanks, and keep up the good work. Few misspelled words, but otherwise A-plus!

LOVED the story. Totally lost track of time and ended reading the entire book in one sitting. Such a pleasant story that held your interest without all the explicit sex scenes so often encountered.. A lovely pleasant read.

Author brought in great characters and drama that left you in suspense with a little romance mixed in.

I thoroughly enjoyed this romance story with its unique premise and absorbing plot twists. The characters were very well developed, too, I thought.

I read all kinds of books. Erotica to YA. This book held my interested and kept me hooked in the story. I loved the male lead. Liked being in his head and I felt every touch, kiss and hug. The female was strong but not obnoxious and overly prideful. I really liked that.

This story was addictive, a great combination of love, suspense and humor. Clean and sweet but fun and adventurous. Wanted to get to the end but hated for it to be over. I must continue on in the series!

I had tears in my eyes more than once. Couldn't wait to see how it came out then was sad because it was over. I will certainly be looking for more of this author.

I didn’t know what to expect when I started the book, but I really enjoed it. The characters were “real” and very likeable. I really thought the author did a great job, especially integrating the characters and the storyline. I also found it fun because I grew up right beside Midland, Texas and can picture it very well in my mind.

Had to literally cover my mouth with the twists and turns. Made me laugh and was very tender where I can almost feel and see what was going on.

This book was a sweet romance that introduced some difficult concepts without having to spell out every detail. Good character depth and I really enjoyed reading the point of view from each character. Well done!
