Athelstan's World

A simple decision can change the course of one's life. Sometimes that same decision can change the course of history. Athelstan, a 4th century BC Barbarian General, makes just such a decision. He turns aside from the appointed quest given him by his King, to save a grubby young sneak thief from brutal Spartan justice.
