Beautiful Redemption (Beautiful Creatures Series #4) by Kami Garcia, Margaret Stohl

Is death the end . . . or only the beginning?
Ethan Wate has spent most of his life longing to escape the stiflingly small Southern town of Gatlin. He never thought he would meet the girl of his dreams, Lena Duchannes, who unveiled a secretive, powerful, and cursed side of Gatlin, hidden in plain sight. And he never could have expected that he would be forced to leave behind everyone and everything he cares about. So when Ethan awakes after the chilling events of the Eighteenth Moon, he has only one goal: to find a way to return to Lena and the ones he loves.
Back in Gatlin, Lena is making her own bargains for Ethan's return, vowing to do whatever it takes -- even if that means trusting old enemies or risking the lives of the family and friends Ethan left to protect.

Worlds apart, Ethan and Lena must once again work together to rewrite their fate, in this stunning finale to the Beautiful Creatures series.

Beautiful Redemption was hands down one of my favorite books. This book had me on my toes the whole 400 and something pages. The whole time I was waiting for Ethan and Lena to be reunited since the end of Beautiful Chaos. This book was a great way to end The Castor Chronicals even though the end had me crying and wishing there would be another book. This made an impact on my life and i hope that for other fans reading this have the same experience.

It was amazing! So amazing that I have read it over and over again! I still can't believe this finally the end! Beautiful Redemption was overall fantastic but I really had hoped for a little more in the ending! *Spoiler alert* I wanted to know more about Ethan and Lena's future lives! A proposel at Greenbrier would have been nice, or a look into a couple years later when they're married and have a baby girl named Lila or Izabel who was born with one green eye and one gold one! I dont know, just more! But overall Beautiful Redemption, actually the whole series was no doubt one if the best series out there! I will never forget it.

I love this series. I could not put it down. Went to watch the movie and was soooo disappointed. If it had followed the book more the movie would have been amazing. It was a real let down. Glad I read the books though such a great story and recommend the books to anyone. Just dont get excited about the movie. I didnt even want to watch it when it started making everything wrong. Oh well.

I really enjoyed the Beautiful Creatures series and was happy with the conclusion. It didn't feel overly rushed and the endings for each character were true to who they were and the journey they had gone on. I was even reminded of some details I had forgotten along the way. I appreciate the writers not dragging the story out for so long that I simply stopped caring about them!

I can't believe that the series is finally over. I finished the book hours ago, and I still can't stop sobbing. Ethan and Lena, Link and Ridley, Liv and John, Macon and Marian, Amma and Lila. I will always love and miss you. "Everything about me remembers everything about you."

One thing i love about this book series is: it's a love story with a shocking kiss, they do not drag the books out forever, and a book that i would mind not letting my niece read it with out all the overly sexual atmosphere that are aimed towards young readers / teens. The characters seem more mature than most books. I love that attitudes & attributes of the characters that stayed consistent (btw my favorite is Amma).I would recommend this book!

I can't wait for the last book to come out. It's somewhat bittersweet actually. At least the book will become immortalled as a film soon enough...

I have rated each book with 5 stars in the past. This last one I must admit I felt like there was some story missing with all the keeper business. I also wouldnt have minded a down the road look at the characters. Either way it was a great book and a good way to end it. But I still have some questions about the keepslers I want answered that leaves me unable to give it a five star ranking.

What a great and entertaining book. I now have read all four of the books plus the novella. What a great set of characters the authors have written about. I would recommend this anyone, it has a great story line and I think a good read for younger or older audiences.

The whole series was so beautiful and gripping...until this book. I felt like the authors simply got tired of writing and just threw this out there. There were major plot points and characters that were glossed over. I read through this series like crazy because I honestly couldn't put them down. I eagerly bought Dark Redemption wanting to see how this amazing series ended only to be highly disappointed. The story it's self was great, but the writing was sub par. I felt like the authors really let me down with this book when I had the potential to be the best in the series. I didn't get any of the deep emotions like in the first 3 books, I felt like the characters lacked the same personalities and charisma that made me love them in the first 3 books. I won't give anything away, but a major character was glossed over so much I almost stopped reading. Had I not been so close to the end I would have. I don't normally review let alone leave a negative review, but I was that disappointed in this book. Anyway, the story it's self was awesome, but the writing was not in this book. It should have been as beautifully written as the rest of the series was.

In this, the last book in the "Beautiful Creatures" series, Ethan loves Lena and she loves him there is only one problem, he is dead and in a kind of limbo. Can he, with the help of loved ones and other people also in limbo help him communicate with Lena and will she be able to know what he needs and get it to him so they can be together? My problem with this book and the reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is that it seemed to me that sometimes they wrote something to answer a problem instead of the usual well though reason something is solved. But over all a good read and worth the time and cost to do so.

Of all the books of this series this was the one I liked the least... the other character's could have been explored and further developed.

I adore the series, don't get me wrong. But Beautiful Redemption left me confused and unsatisfied. The Otherworld was an interesting interpretation of "purgatory" but it was strange for the series. It felt like I was reading something entirely different from the other three books. I wanted more from the end. SPOILER: do Ethan and Lena live happily ever after? Do they get married and stay in Gatlin? Just left me wanting more out of the story, especially since this book was just shy of 300 pages and the others were pushing 500. Just meh.

I really hate the feeling you get when an amazing series like Beautiful Creatures is over. I feel emty and incomplete. Even though this book was AMAZING i'm still gonna really miss all the characters cause throughout the course of the books I really got t know the characters and they feel like close friends. I probably re-read this series in a couple weeks just to make sure I never forget it. Ethan, Lena, Linkabus!, Ridley, Liv, John, Amma, Macon I'll never forget you!

I cried as much as I did in Chaos. I read this is one day flat. I feel incomplete. Chaos was so intimate, comedic, gut sinking and even somewhat carnal that this book is a kind of a letdown. Ethan and Lena are seperated from each throughout the entire book except for the last couple chapters. Even then they are just talking and reminiscing over their loved ones. I wanted more of THEM. Their connection, their love, their need for each other. That's what the series is about. The fact that love is the most powerful force in any world living or dead and can never be squandered by evil no matter how insumountable the odds. The action was wonderful so no complaints there and even though I feel kind of gypped regarding Ethan and Lena, I would reccomend it as a great read. It just ended to quickly for everything to turn out so perfectly. It needed to be perfect so I'm not complaining about that. Maybe slow it down and embrace your character's feelings a bit more to sum it all up. I give this finale 4/5 stars because I'm still happy with the happily ever after. It's just very bittersweet that it is now over.

This book was the best one yet. It took me through a roll of emotions, and I felt as if I knew the characters by the end of this series. The Beautiful Creatures Series (The Caster Chronicles) is an amazing series. I highly recommend reading it. I wish the Authors would do sequel series.

I enjoyed this series. The books are told in Ethan's POV. He lives in a small southern town and most people in town have small town thinking. So when Lena moves into the the Ravenwood house, everyone is against her because the Ravenwood's are the black sleep of the town. The 1st book is about Lena's 16 moon - this is when she finds out if she's claimed light or dark, but she finds a way around it. The 2nd book is about her 17 moon - When Sarafine and Abraham try to bring the moon for Lena to claim dark since she was is a bad place, but she claimed herself and broke the order. The 3rd is them trying to fix the order. The 4th book is Ethan trying to right a wrong and come back to Gatlin.
