An excellent collection of short stories! I read the author's first novel and couldn't wait to read this one and it does not disappoint. A great read about a lot of things, a lot about life. The author is really good at telling stories and this book is a great addition to his other book. Buy it!

One of the best collection of short stories I've seen in a while. The stories are true American Midwest stories, and some that everyone can relate to, from friendships to marriages, and others that are just fascinating reads. I recommend this book highly and also recommend the author's debut award-winning novel "Shotgun Lovesongs". Both are high literary, destined-to-be classics. Buy one for yourself and one for your friends and family.--LOC
