Why Children's Poetry? Some of the poetry contained within this collection was directly inspired by the works of A. A. Milne and Spike Milligan; others just came unbidden. When writing children's poetry I am often in a mode of silliness, crazy mind pictures, the absurd or the down right ridiculous.
