Rather than present a lot of psycho-babble, this author wrote from experience, as well as his education. (If you happen to you catch the one or two four-letter words he lets slip in the book, you can tell that he did indeed have an anger problem himself.)

I especially liked the author's advice, "Don't pull your own tail!" It has helped me to save my marriage, and keep my beautiful wife. (She would have traded me in long ago for a less tempermental model had I not read this book and taken its solid advice to heart.)

If you`ve ever had a problem with internalizing anger,whether from dealing with co-workers,your spouse or family members,you need this book.If you`ve ever replayed situations that made you angry over and over in your mind,you need this book.Unresolved chronic anger not only destroys interpersonal relationships,it can also ruin your health.This book can help you get a handle on the source of your anger and how to cope with it in a non-destructive and non-hurtful way.

I just got this book like two weeks ago. I started reading the other day, but for some reason of time I could not keep reading it. Today I started to read it again and I can't stop reading. For the first time in my life I start to understand why my life is being a little unhappy and probably miserable this last years. I will keep reading and then I will give another review. If you feel that you are trying to do everything right but it seems that it is not working, you need to buy this book. If later on I feel the book is not enough I will seek for professional help.

I bought this book for my adult son-and he has aggressively read almost half of it so far. He has said the same thing that others has said-that the author 'talks' right to you and that it is changing his life.

The first thing I noticed about this book was that it was written almost as though it were a buddy talking to you. I read only half a chapter before I realized it was going to change the way I have been living. I was motivated to look for a book like this after my anger and controling personality ruined a relationship with a girl who I thought I would marry. Unfortunately, those are the times that you look inward. I have read, and will re-read this book again and again as a guide to changing my life. I have also purchased copies for my brother and father. I cannot recommend this book strongly enough.

I've read a lot of personal growth books that did not work but this one did. Because I did not know what I was feeling was anger, until I read this book. I learned how to recognize it and not let it rule my life. Thanks Mr. Harbin.

I have only read 2 chapters of this book and I already can relate to a lot of topics that are being talked about.I think this book is really going to help me understand the anger that I posses and ways to help me control it.I gave this book a rating of 4 stars and that says a lot about this book, being that I have only read 2 chapters.

Wow! Read this book in a few hours. Could not put it down. Highly recomended. I just finished reading and cant wait to try the things packed into this powerful book. I am a male, but think that a female could read this book to get a better understanding. There is a ton of great info in this book, and it is all stuff you would never think about. Go get this book and you wont put it down!

I thought this would be another ho-hum book about men but this book described everything that angry men feel and how the pressures of being a man leave them frustrated and out of control. My husband could relate to so many of the things this author wrote and he felt as if he could understand himself better and what sets him off . It also helped him confront his angry father and mother and get the family to talk about the anger in their family. I can see some changes occuring and my husband is finally freeing himself from this grip and learning how to be happy and enjoy life again. Please buy this book for yourself or for someone you love that is angry. Women can learn a lot about the angry men in their life by reading this as well. It leaves no stone uncovered.

Mr. Harbin is honest and upfront with the issue of anger and what is does to families and relationships. I bought this book for my husband and I am glad I also read it. For women with men in their lives who have anger issues, I recommend you read this book. I am finally understanding angry men and what is really happening inside of their hearts.
