This book gives an early look at the Gullah language and stories that they brought with them from West Africa out of their original content. These stories came from their religious life and close attachment with wildlife. These stories always had a moral and teachable plot to them such as the story of Adam AN' EBE and CREATION. These stories also feature animal characters with human characteristics, and were passed down through generations as a way to preserve our culture and history.
