Nothing but a #blur…
There’s a new kid in town, and he’s hell on wheels.
From what we’ve heard, it may be because
he knows exactly what hell’s like.
You may know his brother, the NRR hotshot
(and former GearShark cover model)
It’s only natural a driver with his background and family connections
has sped his racecar into the newest, hottest division.
But that’s not all.
Arrow may be following in big bro’s tread marks,
but he doesn’t plan to stay there.
He’s swerving onto the road less traveled…
and a lot more controversial.
He’s opening up about his private struggles with sexuality
to tell a story that’s gone unheard until now.
One thing’s for sure; Arrow may have a painful past,
but his foot is heavy on the accelerator.
With speed like this, he’s bound to leave everything behind in
nothing but a #blur.

This book is # 4, in the Gearshark series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this amazing series in order. Dylan AKA Arrow has had nothing but heartache until recently. Now he has to make a decision about his future. He does not want to bring in more pain to those he loves, so he has put off stating his own wants. Jason AKA Hopper is attracted to Arrow. Everytime they are in the same room, it hums with electricity. Before they get burned, can they choose to make a future? This was a bittersweet story. So much pain. So many things broken. Well written, and full of sparks flying. I loved the honesty of the characters and how they sync so well. This is really a great addition to the Gearshark series.
“Two broken shards, two drained batteries, two men who were merely shells. What could we offer each other? This book was impossible to put down, Cambria had said that it was a very long book but to me it flew by. From moment one I was sucked into the story, I already loved Arrow from the past books in the series so I was more than ready to have him as the main character but I think I wasn’t really ready, not really. His story is a sad one, a tragic one, one that was difficult to read because of how much I care about him, those first few chapters weren’t easy to read and I have to admit tears were shed, but I also feel that those chapter were important even pivotal for us to really understand him, his fight and how he came to be the way he is. This book brought us another surprise, Hopper, I was not expecting him, I never imagined that he would have a past so troubled that he too was in pieces for so long and that he too needed someone to help put the pieces back together. Those first chapter were hard to read but so important to the story and I truly appreciate Cambria’s effort to makes us understand this characters a bit more. The rest of the book was soooooooo swoony, I mean seriously who knew those two would react to one another that way, that they attraction was not only physical but also on another level, a lever where their hearts recognize each other as meant to be. As I said in the beginning the book was hard to put down, the story develops beautifully and I enjoyed every second of it (even the one where I was crying). This is one of my favorite series of ALL TIME, I just loved every single character and their love stories make me so very very happy.
